Work Parties
There is always a lot of work to be done in a beagle club
this large. Members should check this page often to see what is needed and
when to show up for a scheduled work party. Of course, you can show up
almost anytime to mow, clear paths, repair the fence

We will be getting the grounds ready for the upcoming
trial. We will have more work parties on April 12th and 13th. We are
looking for people to help paint the interior of the clubhouse on
those days. Please let Mario know if you can help. |
or release trapped rabbits. If you see something that
needs doing, don't wait for someone else to do it. Pitch in without being
asked.
This year's projects
During the winter, we need to be sure the rabbit feeders
have pellets and that we have adequate firewood. In the
spring we will prepare the club for our trial, and put a metal roof on the
clubhouse.
Rabbits are needed. Please make an effort to trap
rabbits this winter and release them on the club grounds. Predator numbers
have been high and rabbits are getting scarce. We need them more
than ever with two major trials being held at our club this year. Trapping
and transfer
permits are available at the club. |
