ENCHANTED MOUNTAIN BIG-RABBIT HUNT

Rabbit Hunt – Back by popular demand is the Big-Rabbit hunt again this year. In order to include our Pennsylvania hunters, it will be held Saturday, February 2, 2008. Rules will be much the same as last year. Enter that day by 8:00 AM at the club or pre-enter by mail. Weigh in no later than 3:00 PM that day at the clubhouse.

Awards:  1st Place - Heaviest Rabbit
                 2nd Place - 2nd Heaviest Rabbit
                 3rd Place - Lightest Rabbit.

Rules are as follows:
  1. NO hunting at the EMBC club grounds. The club will not provide hunting spots for any contestants.
  2. All entries must be received before 8:00 AM on the day of the hunt. Late entries will not be accepted.
  3. Game must be cottontail rabbit. No other strain will be accepted. (decision of the club judges is final)
  4. Game must be fresh kills. (decision of judges)
  5. Game must be field dressed before arrival at the club grounds.
  6. Game will be weighed by club judges using approved scales.
  7. Game must be relatively clean. Water or mod soaked game will be disqualified.
  8. Weight will be verified by both judges and the person entering the game.
  9. Only one rabbit can be entered per person.
10. Awards will be given to the two heaviest and one lightest entered rabbits.
11. Entry fee: $5.00 per person - prepaid
12. Anyone with a legal small game hunting license is eligible to enter.
13. 13. Entries must be officially weighed at the clubhouse by 3:00 PM the day of the hunt to be eligible for prizes
