Our Beagle Club's Purpose
The Enchanted Mountain Beagle Club was formed in May of
1985. We are a non-profit organization that has as a primary
objective to develop close, clean and accurate trailing beagles while
promoting trials designed to test hunting beagles. To achieve this goal, we
will make an effort to conduct both Sanctioned and Licensed beagle field
trials under the rules of The American Kennel Club (AKC).
Our approximately 130 acre running ground is divided into
two fenced running areas. The grounds are completely enclosed by either a
fence or the river that runs along the western border of the property.
In addition, we regularly loan our clubhouse and grounds to
non-profit groups like the Boy Scouts and have New York State Hunter
Education classes held at our clubhouse.
Beagle Associations
We are currently a member of the Northeast Beagle Gundog
Federation and the Iroquois Beagle Gundog Association.
We are also a member of the New York Houndsmen Conservation
Association, Inc. |
